Savory Pineapple Cheeseball

Merry Christmas Eve!
This is an easy, easy, easy cheeseball recipe I adapted from an old Philadelphia Cream Cheese cookbook.

Savory Pineapple Cheeseball

16 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened

1/2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained
2 tablespoons red bell pepper, diced
2 tablespoons green onion, diced
2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional

Stir all ingredients together until all ingredients are well incorporated. Form into a ball. Roll in chopped pecans if desired. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in refrigerator for 1-2 hours. Serve with crackers.

I remember this basic recipe from years ago when my mother made it - how nice to see it again! My mother would also add sharp cheddar to it and we all loved it!
